Frequently asked questions
GENERAL EVENT DETAILS
Can I share the event details with a peer?
Yes, please feel free to share the event website with your coworkers and peers!
How do I earn CPE credit?
By actively participating and responding to the live polling questions during each session through Poll Everywhere. Each session on the agenda will qualify for 1 CPE credit. CPE certificates will be emailed to qualified participants within 60 days of the event.
Are the sessions NASBA CPE certified?
Protiviti is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
What if I can no longer attend the virtual sessions?
Don't worry, each session will be recorded! After the live session, you can access the event recording on-demand on the Agenda page. However, please note that CPE credit will NOT be available for on-demand viewing.
Who can I contact if I have additional questions about the event?
If you still have unanswered questions, you can contact us via email at events@protiviti.com.
DIGITAL EVENT PLATFORM
How do I join my session?
To join, you must be registered for the event and logged in using the email address provided upon registration.
On the Agenda page, select your session and click the Broadcast button under the session title. The Broadcast button will be live two minutes before the scheduled start time.
Before your session goes live, the screen will be grey. This is fine and normal. At the bottom of the screen, you can see a countdown timer. When the timer gets to 2 minutes before the session starts, your session will automatically begin.
In there a dial-in number?
No, audio will be streamed through your computer or device. We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox.
How do I ask a question?
Before the event, visit the Submit a Question tab to submit any questions for the speakers in advance.
During the event, you'll be able to type your question in the Ask the Speaker window. We'll do our best to address as many questions as time allows during the live session.
Poll Everywhere is not working for me. What do I do?
If you are having technical difficulties responding to the poll questions, please e-mail events@protiviti.com with your full name, the session you’re attending, and your individual polling responses.
TROUBLESHOOTING
What are the system requirements to join a session?
You can check if your system can use the Bizzabo Virtual Experience with the Quick Tech Check.
I am experiencing technical issues. How can I get this resolved?
Check out the Technical Troubleshooting Guide. Additionally, ensure you are utilizing the software outlined below for optimal experience.
The output device I want to use isn't showing up — how can I fix this?
First, refresh your browser. If still experiencing issues, check the physical connection to your device, by either unplugging and re-connecting your physical headphones, or toggling bluetooth on and off.
If you are confident that the output device is connected correctly, check your system preferences to ensure your computer recognizes the device. On a Windows device, click the loudspeaker icon on the bottom right of your screen, and you'll be able to change output device. On a Mac, visit System Preferences > Sound to choose your output devices.
My devices are connected properly, but I can't hear anything!
If you're confident everything is connected properly, your devices might be being used by another tool or application. Make sure tools like Zoom, Google Hangouts, Go To Meeting etc. have been closed prior to starting the session.
The sound is coming out of a different device than I want — what can I do?
To toggle between multiple outputs connected to your device (e.g. internal speakers, headphones and AirPlay), click the 3 dots on the top right of the live-streamed session, and then click on the Settings button. You will then be able to select which output and input devices should be used.
